Santa Clara is a top destination in Santa Clara County. It is located in the heart of the Silicon Valley
and is home to many high tech companies such as Intel and National Semiconductor. Santa Clara is
home to both Mission College and Santa Clara University. Santa Clara University is the oldest
institution of higher learning in California and is well known for its MBA program and Law School.
 
Santa Clara offers a wide variety of housing options. The homes range in size from small 600 square
foot cottages to 3,000 square foot homes. The homes range from Spanish and Victorian to more
contemporary stucco homes. Some of the neighborhoods are more established and have tree lined
streets, while others like the Rivermark community are newer and more centrally located.
 
The Rivermark is a master planned community built on 152 acres. It includes retail space, a new
elementary school, parks, apartments, condos, townhomes, and single family homes. It is an upscale
community with many young professionals and families.
 
Santa Clara is served by both the Santa Clara Unified and Cupertino Union School Districts.
Laurelwood, Millikin, and Washington elementary schools in The Santa Clara School District have API
scores near or above 900, as does Dwight D. Eisenhower School in the Cupertino Union School
District.
 
Santa Clara offers many nearby shopping options, including the Rivermark Shopping Center,
Mercado Shopping Center, Westfield Valley Fair, Santana row, Mervyn’s Plaza, and many strip malls
along El Camino Real and Steven’s Creek Blvd.

Santa Clara is bordered by Steven’s Creek Blvd. to the south, Lawrence Expressway to the west,

El Camino Real, VTA Light Rail, and Cal Train.
